Sunny Dark marble characteristics
Sunny Dark marble is the deepest of the Sunny family, a rich tan-to-brown Egyptian marble with warm caramel undertones and a denser, more dramatic background than the lighter Sunny shades. Its veining is more pronounced, weaving darker brown and amber threads through a toffee-coloured field that adds depth and character to any surface. The stone polishes to a glossy, mirror-like sheen that intensifies its warmth, yet honed and brushed finishes mute it to an earthy matte. Its solid density and bold tone make it ideal where a grounded, luxurious feel is wanted rather than a pale, airy look.

Finishes and applications of Sunny Dark marble
Sunny Dark marble is supplied polished, honed, brushed and tumbled. Polished slabs bring out the deepest caramel and brown tones for statement floors and feature walls, while honed and brushed surfaces give a softer, more rustic matte that suits warm contemporary interiors. As one of the darker shades in our Egyptian marble collection, it works beautifully as a contrast to lighter Sunny and Galala tones, anchoring two-tone floor patterns, borders and cladding designs.
Typical uses include flooring, accent walls, staircases, fireplace surrounds, vanity tops and cut-to-size architectural details where a deep, warm stone adds richness and definition.

Sunny Dark marble: frequently asked questions
How is Sunny Dark different from other Sunny shades? Sunny Dark is the deepest variant, with a rich tan-to-brown background and more pronounced caramel veining, while Sunny Medium, Light and Menia are progressively paler and softer. Choose Sunny Dark when you want warmth and contrast rather than a pale, airy beige.
Is Sunny Dark suitable for floors? Yes. Its dense structure and dark field handle foot traffic well and disguise everyday marks, making it a practical choice for floors, borders and stairs. Honed or brushed finishes add slip resistance for entrances and circulation areas.
What finishes and sizes are available? Sunny Dark comes polished, honed, brushed and tumbled, in tiles, slabs and cut-to-size pieces at 1.5 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm thickness, all produced in our own factory with CE and SGS certification.
