Halayeb granite is a grey Egyptian granite quarried near Halayeb in the country’s south-east, known for its balanced mid-grey tone with fine black and silver speckling. It is a hard igneous granite formed from interlocking quartz, feldspar and mica, giving it high density, very low water absorption and excellent durability.
