What is polished marble?

Polished marble is a finish achieved by grinding the stone with successively finer abrasives and then buffing it to a high gloss. This closes the surface pores and creates a smooth, reflective face that acts almost like a mirror. The polishing process intensifies the marble’s natural colour and reveals the veining with maximum depth and contrast, making patterns appear vivid and crisp.
